To those of you who are graduating ... and to those of you who are not.

To our undocumented community: a heartfelt congratulations to those of you graduating—from K-12 schools, colleges, and other post-secondary programs—despite the countless challenges this country has thrown at you.

And an abundance of gratitude to those of you who did not graduate, instead investing in your family’s safety, working for siblings’ survival, holding space for others to achieve. Our dreams are bound up in sacrifices and hardships too expensive to tally in just dollars and cents.
